Event Details

The Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA) is hosting a training on assistive technology and autism.  Easter Seals Crossroads staff will present on a variety of topics including augmentative communication and employment.  Several assistive technology vendors will be present with information on their products.  This training is held on the 5th floor at Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis and is free and open to the public. The Autism Family Resource Center is the place for families with children of all ages on the Autism Spectrum for: parent-to-parent support, support options for all family members, over one thousand resource items to borrow, small and large group meeting space, on-site social worker for referral info, and internet access.

INDATA (Indiana Assistive Technology Act) Project



Easter Seals Crossroads operates the INDiana Assistive Technology Act Project, otherwise known as the INDATA Project. The purpose of the INDATA project is two-fold. The first is to get assistive technology into the hands of Hoosiers with disabilities through device demonstrations, device loans, computer recycling and alternative financing. The second goal is to provide statewide outreach educational opportunities regarding assistive technology capabilities, options and resources.
